We connect consumers with independent, third-party solar installation companies ("Installers"). We are not a solar installer, contractor, or energy provider. We do not design, sell, install, or maintain solar energy systems.
2. Use of the Service
By using this website and submitting information through our forms, you agree to these Terms. You represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- The information you provide is accurate and truthful.
- You are the property owner or have authorization from the property owner to request solar quotes.
3. What We Provide
We provide a free service that matches your project details with up to three solar installation companies in your area. Our solar savings calculator provides estimates only — actual system design, pricing, and savings depend on a professional site evaluation.
4. What We Do Not Guarantee
- We do not guarantee the quality, pricing, timeliness, or workmanship of any Installer.
- We do not guarantee specific energy savings, system performance, or financial returns.
- Calculator results are ballpark estimates and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.
- We do not endorse any specific Installer, product, or brand.
5. Installer Relationships
Installers in our network are independent businesses. Any contract you sign is between you and the Installer directly. We are not a party to any installation agreement and bear no responsibility for work performed by Installers.
6. Compensation Disclosure
We may receive compensation from Installers when we connect them with consumers through our service. This compensation does not affect the quotes you receive.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, calculator logic, designs, and graphics — is owned by Mountaineer Solar or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mountaineer Solar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service, reliance on calculator estimates, or interactions with Installers.
